Talks in Beijing, China

I spoke at Renmin University and Beijing Normal University on whether there is an on/off switch for consciousness and also on the nature of pain. My hosts were amazingly hospitable and I had a wonderful time. Beijing is a very lively city with people on the streets at all times of the day and night. I got around using public yellow bikes unlocked via the We Chat app on my phone. Beijing is now for all purposes a cashless city. Everything can be done via We Chat! And at least while I was there, no smog was visible!
